This Saturday, preorders go live for the newest Chaos army in Warhammer 40k – The Emperor’s Children. Ahead of this exciting release, let’s take a deeper dive into the box, and what’s to come!

The Champions of Slaanesh arrive for preorder at TBZ this Saturday, March 1. This special edition box is a fantastic starting point for any Emperor’s Children army. There are 33 all new miniatures inside, along with a special edition codex and 22 dataslate cards.
Lord Exultant
The Lord Exultant arrives to lead the Emperor’s Children force in style. You can build your Lord with one of two head options, and multiple weapon options. Your Lord Exultant can bring the hurt to your foes with a Phoenix Spear, Rapture Lash, Power Fist, Power Sword, Plasma Pistol, Screamer Pistol, or Bolt Pistol.
With a regal cape and flayed flesh stretched over his leg, the Lord Exultant brings style and excess to the fore of any force.
The Lord Exultant can lead the Infractor and Tormentor squads included in the box.

Noise Marines
Noise Marines are the specialist troops of the Emperor’s Children force. Two units of six Noise Marines are included in the Champions of Slaanesh box. Each squad has options to build a Disharmonist, the leader of each Noise Marine unit. Additionally, up to 2 Noise Marines can upgrade their Sonic Blasters to Blastmasters.
Each sonic weapon has a daemonic face stretched over the barrel. There are a variety of heads and backpacks to customize each Noise Marine, with tons of lovely details to highlight the extravagance of these sonic-powered killing machines.

Tormentors
The Champions of Slaanesh box contains 20 space marines which can be built as two squads of ten, with a choice of specialties. Tormentors are the ranged battleline troops of Emperor’s Children. Available in squads of five to ten, these troops specialize in taking out enemies from range.

Each squad has an option for meltas and plasmas. Five-marine squads can take one of each, while full ten-marine sqauds can take up to two of each. As with every core chaos legion release, even the standard bolter has been customized to fit the legion. In this case, these bolters are ornamented with the iconography of Slaanesh.
Infractors
The other battleline option for the 20 space marines included in the Champions of Slaanesh box is the close combat specialist Infractor squads. As with Tormentors, you can take your Infractors in five to ten-marine squads. Unlike Tormentors, these space marines don’t have upgrades for their kit. Each Infractor strides into melee with a wicked dueling saber and bolt pistol. You could take an Icon, and upgrade the Champion (and Obsessionist here), but the standard troops have one loadout.

These dueling sabers come with lots of variation in both style and pose, so even if the statline isn’t different, no two models will look the same.
Emperor’s Children Codex
Also included in the Champions of Slaanesh box is a special codex exclusive to this box. It’s just like the standard codex you’ll find available for purchase later, except for a special cover, only available in this limited edition box.
There are also 22 dataslate cards included in the box, to cover each of the profiles available in the codex.
