Release day has come! For those who revel in excess, it’s a glorious day indeed. But what sorts of excesses do you find inside your own Champions of Excess box? Read on to find out!
The Sprues
Lord Exultant
The Lord Exultant is a single small sprue, but there’s tons of options to customize your own. There’s a choice of three weapons for each hand (six total), and two different heads.

Tormentors/Infractors
There are six sprues which build 20 of the basic Emperor’s Children legionaries. They can be assembled as either ranged Tormentors or close combat Infractors, or a mix of one squad each.

There are tons of options, from heads and shoulders, to different poses. There’s options for your legionaries to be tossing grenades or holding guns covered in flayed skin. The weapons themselves are unique to Emperor’s Children, with lots of detailed iconography and extra bits to make them stand out.
Noise Marines
There are four sprues that build two squads of six Noise Marines. As with the stock Legionaries, these kits have lots of options. There are options for the blasters, and different heads and backpacks.

The Extras
It wouldn’t be a GW release without some fanfare. The Champions of Slaanesh box packs quite a few extras. All of these come packed in this lovely cardboard folio, which opens to present the contents.

The first big item is a limited edition version of the Emperor’s Children codex. It features a special cover, with some pink foil iconography and page edges.
The contents are the same inside, with all the rules, lore, and datasheets to get any warband of excess onto the table.
The art is quite good, and offers some exciting looks at the legion. There are pages with a bunch of sample liveries to get you started, in case you need some inspiration to get you started.

There are also data cards for everyone unit in the codex, so you don’t have to worry about remembering all of your own stats.
